ADCCI Participates in the Future Energy Summit 2012 and Invites Its Members to Make Use of this Landmark International Event

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry takes part in the Future Energy Exhibition and Summit, which is going to commence its activities on Monday, 16th January 2012.
“The ADCCI’s participation in the 2012 Future Energy Exhibition and Summit comes within the framework of efforts being exerted by the ADCCI for purposes of supporting the endeavours of promoting Abu Dhabi as an economic, industrial hub in the region, particularly at this important international event which is viewed as one of the most important exhibitions and gatherings specialized in the field of energy, as well as of raising commercial awareness of and making business promotion for the future-energy sector to which paramount attention is being attached by the Abu Dhabi Government and is represented in such pioneering projects as that of “Masdar” City,” HE Mohammed Helal Al Muhairi, ADCCI Director General, said, noting that the event is an opportunity for a get-together of senior government officials, chiefs of leading international organization in topics of both renewable energy and protection of the environment, along with international investors in order for them to explore, discuss and develop plans for the future of energy. It is also a key occasion for national companies and businesses to be briefed upon comprehensive solutions in the realm of energy, the environment, equipment, technology and the services’ sector.
The Chamber’s participation in the Future Energy Exhibition and Summit would be in its capacity as a supporter of the Abu Dhabi’s strategic project “Masdar” and out of its interest in the emirate’s sustainable-development strategy, for a report on sustainability in its activities has since three years been issued by the Chamber, Mr. Al Muhairi explained.
Through a team supervising it, the ADCCI’s pavilion will provide services of economic data and information, a variety of e-services rendered by the Chamber to companies and firms, in addition to procedures and prerequisites that should be followed for obtaining licences, information on companies registered in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and ones classified by their respective activities and sizes, along with promotional information and brochures on the emirate’s investment climate and opportunities, projects in the pipeline for the upcoming five years, not to mention lists of future projects classified by activities and by areas and sectors of business.
The ADCCI’s pavilion is seen over by a professional team representing the Chamber’s various sectors and departments, by specialists in giving legal consultancy and providing technical and investment information, as well as by advisors on issues of trade licences and opening offices and branches for foreign companies. 
The ADCCI is striving through this participation to attract more international companies; especially those specialized in the energy and services industry, besides ones highly renowned and globally well-known for offering professional services spanning all sectors and spheres.
The Chamber has extended an invitation to companies and businesses operating in Abu Dhabi for participating in this landmark international event and for availing themselves of what would be made available by the presence of international companies and businesses pioneering in the field of renewable and future energy in a manner supportive of an approach to investment in this vitally important sector.
